2. Background and Need
India is the birthplace of Yoga, yet lifestyle diseases, stress, and physical inactivity have grown drastically. Despite the global popularity of Yoga, its practice in daily Indian life remains limited.

45 percent of Indians suffer from stress-related conditions
1 in 3 adults has hypertension or diabetes
